New year and new......

I was half hoping that no one would turn up in tonight's yoga session.

I wanted to go, but I did not want to go. Minus 30 may not be a good day to go into studio with plus 30 degree and humid environment. But I went and kept thinking that maybe no one would go, then, the studio may have to cancel the session. I can not analysis my thinking rationally. Logically, I should have stayed home instead of going and hoping it would not happen.

I guess it just make me a typical human being. I do thing that is good to me. I do the right thing. But I don't find it fun and inspiring and encouraging. I have to find excuses to get myself out the situation. And mind you, right thing is normally the hard thing to do.

Like yoga. Third pose later, I sweat like a pig, keeping thinking, why oh why oh why oh why I had to come to torture myself? Maybe there are people out there enjoy it, but it's not me. I remembered one time when I got on top of the ski hills, I was asked whether I enjoyed it. You kidding me? Of course I did not! I still don't. But I went. Because it's the right thing to do.

I was in the studio, sweating, stole a look or two at my wrist watch, counting down. It's a very hot session, as a lot of people went. More than normal. I knew that I will come back, but I knew that I will keep cursing while I am in it. So, New year came, the new me never will replace the old one.

刚从加州回来，阳光明媚，春暖花开的加州，马上就一头扎到巨冷的冬天。昨天开车上爱德蒙顿，第一次见识了什么是“大烟泡子”那种风吹雪起，道路迷蒙的冬天行车状况。路上一段是北风呼啸，卷起雪粒，像风沙一样的漫天雪雾，能见度最低的时候大约只有不到大约二十米，前后左右都是高速公路上行进的车辆，把我紧张得浑身肌肉酸痛，还得到抱怨“多找些麻烦来了！”

路上最惊险的一段，还有某人忍不住地看路边埋在雪地里的车辆，“哦，那两辆车撞上了”，我紧张地回答“两眼不要乱看，紧盯着路上！”老大到了，马上把精彩对话搬到facebook上去，给他老妈现眼……
